International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1158 Endorses Brendan Gill for Congress
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Today, Essex County Commissioner Brendan Gill, candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District, announced the endorsement of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1158, one of the most respected unions representing public and private-sector workers across New Jersey.
IBEW Local 1158 highlighted Gill’s long record of standing up for working families and his commitment to protecting collective bargaining rights.
“Brendan has been a trusted voice representing the interests of hardworking men and women of labor in Essex County for the past decade,” said IBEW Local 1158 Business Manager Joseph P. Calabro. “He has consistently shown up and delivered for the people who keep our communities running. We are proud to endorse him to continue to lead the fight for union workers in New Jersey.”
“I’m proud to have the support of IBEW Local 1158,” said Brendan Gill. “Their members represent workers across multiple sectors, forming a vital part of our regional economy and the essential services families rely on. In Congress, I will continue fighting for fair wages, safer workplaces, and the union protections that help strengthen the middle class.”
